When I get a Penny Wylder book, I know I am not going to be disappointed. This book was a pleasure to read because it was a fresh idea and characters that really deserved their second chance at love.
What I liked about this book was how the story of what happened 6 years ago and the present were told side by side, revealing the past little by little following parallel events in the present. Wylder does this well. Her transitions between past and present do not interrupt the reader’s investment in the romance. You really get the sense of the Eric and Seph as teenagers and how the passage of time matured them without changing how they felt.
