Driven to Date by Susan Hatler

Jill was married to her job.  She spent every waking hour working to be promoted.  When she didn’t get a well deserved promotion, she was devastated, angry and about to do  something rash.  A friend made her think about the balance she had in her life and she realized the scales were heavily tilted toward work.

The relationship with Ryan started off and continued to be very complicated.  Ryan wanted to date Jill.  Jill didn’t want to want to date Ryan but at times, couldn’t resist.

I liked that Ryan was such a sweet, caring man that clearly would always have Jill’s back when she was so fiercely independent and didn’t want to rely on anyone so she wouldn’t be let down.  He kept showing over, and over that he was so much better than she gave him credit for being until she finally let herself fall under his spell.
