DARKEST is a truly original story with an unapologetic dark bad boy and a broken woman that kept me on edge with its danger and intrigue.
Scarlett is such a complex character and Vi Carter makes you feel her fear, rage and pain. She is wound so tight the reader can feel the tension. It keeps you reading.
Dean is also an amazing character because he doesn’t feel things the way “normal” people do. When he does, his feelings are intense. I really loved his part in how the book ended.
It’s dark, steamy, intense intriguing - you’ll love it.
