Ellis (Minnie) tells her psychologically abusive husband she is divorcing him then moves back to her hometown. Somewhere not too far away, Connor and his long time girlfriend break up over Connor’s inability to commit. He went back home for Christmas, too.
They knew each other in high school as friends and always seemed to be dating other people, but when they met again just before Christmas sparks flew; stars and hearts appeared in their eyes.
This is a sweet story that makes you think back to that first guy you liked in high school and how things may have been different if you had gone with them back then. It’s fiction, so it works out great except for a couple of angsty moments. So according to this story, you CAN go home again and it’s pretty awesome.
