Six brothers. Six mail order brides arranged by their mother so they can save the town of Snow Valley. A pretty wild premise, but the stories were all unique and sizzling hot.
My favorite was Winter and Christopher. He made sure the message that he was not interested in a real marriage would be communicated to Winter. She came to Snow Valley anyway and let’s just say one look at her when he went to pick her up turned him into a caveman.
Hartley was the brother that had been through all the single women in Snow Valley, but only once each. Most of them expected more and they expected him to choose a wife from among them. When Hattie arrived, they let her know he wasn’t reliable for a serious relationship. They were wrong.
Mason was a little damaged from being injured in the service. He was stricken with jealousy and possessiveness when Mia came off the plane with another man.
Catriona arrives on Nate’s doorstep. He’s pretty reluctant about the whole thing being the self proclaimed black sheep of the family. He has his share of vices and trouble. Catriona left a living situation with a drug user and “merchant”. Nate seems to find a better way to occupy his time when she arrives - a better way than drinking, smoking and hellraising.
Be sure you read the hot epilogue of Matt and Jenna’s story. You’d think the local lawyer and the girl band rock star would not have much in common, but they were my second favorite couple.
The surprise of the bunch was Spencer and Gabriella. I’m not going to say anything more about them because the surprising thing is what makes their story so interesting.
So this anthology has something for everyone, but the Mistletoe men are all rugged, handsome, dirty talking husbands to be.
