This book had such a deep, heartfelt mood running all the way through it. Jonas recognizing Scott was his son was the starting point for swoon worthy dad/toddler son story. The underlying pressure of dealing with his family tarnished that a little, providing the necessary drama to hold my interest.
How Rachel could be the independent, driven and living person she was with the mother she had was a real mystery. All I am going to say about that is that woman has some nerve...
This is a poignant and emotional story and it was a great holiday read,
