Look the Part by Jewel E. Ann

This is really a special book that tugged (quite sharply) on my emotions in so many ways.  “Sometimes the world ends and forgets to take you with it” was such a poignant line that described so  well the depth of the personal tragedy Ellen and  Flint carried with them.

There was so much passion between Flint and Ellen and the romance was built so believably.  That just made the heartbreaking moments that much more tragic.  Flint’s son Harrison, had autism characteristics that influenced his ability to read social situations and express emotions appropriately. His character gave the story such a “real” feeling.

This is the first book I have read by this author, but it won’t be the last,
