So book 1 ended with Celia being auction off to the highest bidder just as Nic planned. What happens after that could not have been less in his plan, however. Nic’s fury and lust for revenge drove his decisions regarding his mafia and Celia. She fought him at every turn.
If you love over the top “don’t even look at my girl” possessive guys, you should read this book. Watching Nic become undone by his need to have all of Celia’s passion and her heart is what I enjoyed about this story. By the end of the book, he had either threatened to kill or beat up anyone that breathed in her direction.
So the question is, does Nic get the revenge he sought by taking Celia in the first place? You’ll want to read the interesting twists in DEVIL YOU KNOW, to find out.
