What a wonderful story told with such skill for drawing out the reader’s emotions. Calli’s grief over the loss of Nigel seemed too deep to be overcome. Nigel basically sent her to find Keegan, and their story will leave you breathless. The author did an incredible job describing grief, loss and the courage it took to face and overcome it.
It doesn’t hurt that the chemistry between Keegan and Calli was hot and possessive. I really enjoyed this addition to the Hero Club collection and found a new author to check out at the same time.
