Rourke is the hitman and Leah the PA to the guy he’s supposed to kill. The passionate scenes written by Jagger Cole never disappoint. The reader can also always count on the super protective demeanor of our hero and the sweet innocence of the damsel.
The story was weak. I expect things to be over-the-top, but things like how bad Rourke was at being a hitman especially in the areas of subterfuge and being set up, was OTT in a bad way. I read a lot of Jagger Cole’s books, and this novella fell short.
