The story of Adam and Danielle hits the ground running from the first page and never lets up. It’s tortured, erotic, and romantic. Adam is consumed with guilt and grief from his brother Sebastian’s death. He thinks of little but his loss and revenge.
Danielle is an artist, exhibitionist and unwittingly part of Adam’s plan. She is focused on the man and her presence is clear to everyone to be what he needs.
NO BROKEN BEAST is a loose retelling of Beauty and the Beast, but I really didn’t pay much attention to that. The transformation of Adam as a result of making Danielle a part of his plan makes this a worthy read. It is a dialogue driven story which makes for a fast pace.
