I thoroughly enjoyed NASHVILLE NIGHTS for the depth of emotion it evoked. It is so easy to like Gigi for her self respect, how she genuinely cares for others, and even for her (failed) attempts to resist Vaughn’s charms.
I fell in love with Vaughn for the depth of his emotions. For how his bad boys rocker ways preceded his time with Gigi. For how consumed he was with her and needed her for his tortured soul.
Oh yeah, it was crazy hot and filled with longing. There was angst, but not the kind that stems from unnecessary attention seeking drama. The fact that Gigi seemed to be exactly what Vaughn needed to tame his demons was what made this such a great romance.
