This book can only be read online on an app called Galatea. After the free chapters in book 1, it costs 90 points to purchase the rest of the book which consists of 14 Chapters. 110 points can be purchased for $4.99. There are supposed to be sensory and visual stimuli with this online book formate, but I am not seeing it. If it is only available with the audio book, I’m going to miss out.
Aiden in the Alpha of the pack. Sierra is who he chooses as his partner (not the same as a mate) for the Haze - basically something like a mating season where carnal urges become uncontrollable. Sierra has dodged giving in to the Haze for three years secretly keeping her virginity.
The story unfolds with Sierra gaining the attention of Aiden much to the dismay of his Beta, Josh (Aiden seems distracted and weakened), but much to the excitement of her family and friends. Sierra wants to be more than a conquest or object to a man and continues to run from Aiden and hide which just makes him more determined.
But Sierra is 19 and some of her decisions are immature. She ends up having the consequences of such decisions catch up with her in a nightclub, where the first book concludes.
