As a fake fiancé story, the circumstances under which Huxley and Lottie find themselves engaged is a unique one on Huxley’s part. It drives the story and gives us some pretty funny situations as they try to navigate through fake fiancée/fake pregnancy and their reasons.
What liked most is from the start, Lottie was quite feisty and snarky. Instead of just finding that attractive and then trying to “tame her”, Huxley would match her snark without pulling any punches. They were both also quite skilled in the steamy talking area.
So, it’s a well written story that is fun to read, too.
