I enjoyed the book that actually starts off with a tragic tone and is all uphill from there. Harry and Winter meet after Winter’s friend Mallory dies after giving birth to Harry’s baby that he didn’t know about.
This is one of those stories where the character’s logic is to be more concerned about the “feelings” of the deceased person than those that are living. Winter loves baby Avery but feels guilty having a positive relationship with Harry who broke Her friend’s heart.
