THE GOOD LUCK CHARM has several things going for it: hockey, reunited high school sweethearts, interfering, albeit well meaning parents, and volatile chemistry. The story is engaging from the start and it was one of those “can’t put it down” kind of books.
Also, Helena Hunting is great a creating male hero characters that are hot and lovable, but also imperfect in such a way that leads to a defining moment in their life. Her female lead in this book is so familiar in putting everyone’s needs before her own until something has to give.
I really enjoyed the book. You should read it.
