Fake It For Us by Weston Parker

I love every one of these stories with the Faux Agency. I don’t know how Weston Parker can always get me in the first few pages, but it happened again with FAKE IT FOR US.

Journey is a free spirit that puts everyone else first.  She and her friend Dottie are in New York on their “girls trip” and run really low on my so Journey signs up to do a few escort gigs to fill their coffers.

Divorced single dad August the third is getting pressure from his father to bring a “suitable” woman to their upscale jewelry company’s annual gala.  His encounter with Journey occurs in New York and he hires her to be his nanny/gala date.

So we have the adorable Elsie smitten with Journey’s free spirited love for life, August’s snobby parents, Journey’s friend and family back in the US all having Journey trying to do right by them.

This is a story that had my full attention from the start.  The characters were memorable no matter how small their role (like some of Journey’s dates from Faux).  She seemed to good to be true at times but that is what made the story so captivating. I really enjoyed it and hope there are more stories coming from the Faux Agency.

I read an advance copy of this book from the author and this is my voluntary review.
