Xavier: Impossible to like at this point. Ruthless, unforgiving, lethal and controlling. Tallulah: Not scoring many points with me, either. Immature, bratty, manipulative.
In spite of all this, I got sucked into this dark and abusive story and could not put it down. I’m not sure if I keep hoping Xavier will change if Tallulah grows up some, but the whole thing is twisted and I have to see what happens next.
