ENTICING THE SCROOGE is a tough book to rate. It’s an over the top obsessive-possessive story. On that issue it’s a solid 4. The way they meet is strange, but fitting for the character.
But the thing that got me is the whole opera scene. You’ll see what I mean. I don’t know if it was supposed to be funny, but it made me laugh and shake my head at the characterization. From that point on it was hard to take things seriously and I didn’t know if this was written tongue-in-cheek or not.
