FIVE WINTERS: A NOVEL follows Beth through her attempts to get over the love she has held forever for her best friend’s brother Mark. The biological clock is ticking. Relationships are fizzling or falling flat. Life seems to be a series of patches over a broken heart that never fully mends.
The story is told by flashbacks and in real time over mostly events surrounding the holidays each year for 5 years. Each year finds Beth seeking something to fill her life as the one thing she really wants remains unattainable.
I enjoyed the book and glad I chose it as my Amazon First Reads book for December 2022.
