I decided to read STEALING SAWYER because I love a good sports romance and a good story about a fake relationship for improving someone’s image. Sawyer had secrets and those secrets led him to be an embarrassment to his team when it came to his womanizing.
Aspen - a classical pianist from Juilliard, girl next door and woman some men can’t seem to get over - runs into Sawyer and eventually this idea of a fake relationship for mutual benefit is born.
The characters have great chemistry, are not very in touch with their real feelings, and hide behind secrets to avoid the truth. Finding out what finally makes them reveal their secrets and what pain the live with kept me turning the pages.
