Prescott has his reputation as a boozer and womanizer and he’s unapologetic about it for the most part. His work in the family company shows his talents but clashes with his father and demons in his past make his life miserable.
He went to high school with Vivi and years later they cross paths and all she can remember is the misery she suffered at Crestview despite her unrequited crush on Prescott.
The story is a good one because Vivi needs someone at a horrible time in her life and Prescott is both an unlikely hero, and the perfect one. His secrets and her walls succumb. While they have tremendous chemistry (and Prescott is quite the dirty talker), but it is really the love that heals them both. Good book!
