I enjoyed RECKLESS mostly because there is so much more to this story than meets the eye. Adam is the grumpy boss keeping professional with an assistant that is talented, feisty and things he makes a point not to notice.
AJ also pushes her attraction to Adam down for the sake of a good working partnership. We learn a little about her background, but she is instrumental in changing Adam’s life over the 5 years they work together.
Once the secrets start getting revealed, the book just gets more and more interesting. It has a bit of a sports connection in that they are sports agents, but the sports themselves are not central to the story.
