This is the only book in the series I have read. The description said it can be read as a standalone but there were a few times I felt like I was missing something. It seems like there is an overarching theme that concludes with this book.
As a suspense story, it’s good. I also thought the parts of the story involving the judge’s teenage children was done really well. The romance is a little sluggish but there is plenty to love about Finn and Kennedy as a relationship and as people.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
