MY BROKEN HERO has a melancholy mood with troubled veteran, and now firefighter, Beau and the girl that got away. Liz is escaping a controlling king term relationship and the story is about whether they should give in to their long held crushes on each other.
As a second chance romance it is good. Beau tugs at our heartstrings for a lot of reasons and seeing these two accept that they need and deserve on another made a great story.
