Knocked Up By The Wrong Prince by Lilian Monroe

Crown Prince Theo and long time friend Cara have their story in Book 6 of the series.  I have read all the books so far and always look forward to a new Lilian Monroe book.

This friends to lovers romance is not the best representative of the series.  Theo was everything a future monarch should be - responsible, dedicated and he clearly decided after all their years as friends, Cara meant much more.  Cara had dreams she felt could not be met in their island country.

Cara had once been engaged to his brother Luca who cut himself off from her and his family three years ago due to a bad injury.  Cara pined for him but we aren’t quite sure after all her devotion to reaching him, why she felt in her weaker moments that Theo meant more to her.

Cara was very insecure despite the nonverbal messages Theo gave her.  Theo didn’t want to be the reason she didn’t pursue her own dreams so he didn’t let her know how he felt.  Their story was a lot of the same insecurities or obstacles being rehashed over and over making me feel Cara was too immature.

I recommend this book for its contribution to the princes of Argyles’ stories.  I enjoyed reading about all the brothers.
