Boss in the Bedsheets by Kate Canterbary

BOSS IN THE BEDSHEETS is such an entertaining  type of romance because the connection between the characters is so strong from the start.  I especially adored how Zelda seemed to ignite passion in Ash that he never cared much about doing without.  He had just had his girlfriend break up with him and he didn’t seem affected, but he couldn’t stand next to Zelda without touching her or kissing her head or temple the morning after she first met him.

The family connection is a big part of what makes the story enjoyable, too.  His mom and sister are happy Ash is with “not Millie” when they stop by one morning unexpectedly.

Near the end of the book, Ash learns why Millie left Denver, and after she feels ready to share everything with him he does something really wonderful for her out of respect for what she had left behind and why.
