Autumn in London by Louise Bay

Book3 of the Empire State Series starts several months after Ethan and Anna have parted Tom New York.  In an interesting twist, Ethan finds himself assigned to London for three months.

What grabs me the most about this story is that Ethan has never dated or had a girlfriend - just one and done type things - and he’s struggling at times to come to grips with these new feelings that come with being in a committed relationship.  In fact, he seems less ambiguous about their status than Anna does.

Anna is all about protecting herself from heartache she knows will come when Ethan leaves without her.  This book ends with the expiration of Ethan’s three months in London and how things stand at that point.  The third and last book of the series, New Year in Manhattan is up next.
