A Bad Boy For Christmas by Alex Wolf

This holiday book will melt the snow throughout the entire Midwest it is so hot thanks to broody, damaged and dirty talker Parker.  Parker comes to us with more baggage than a starlet on a weekend trip to Paris.  It keeps him from forgiving himself enough to let him have a fulfilling relationship with someone.

That someone is Lake.  Fresh off getting her MBA, she sees her BFF’s new stepbrother and is as gaga as a starlet on a weekend trip to Paris.  BFF says, “He’s no good for you.”  Friend’s dad says, “He’s no good for you.”  Parker  says, “I’m no good for you.”  So naturally, she wonders if he’s good for her.

It’s a story of breaking down walls and deciding to take a risk when in love.  The way Parker tells Lake he loves her is as corny as a starlet on a...no that won’t work here.  It’s corny, but it works with a big swoon.  Loved the holiday story.
