Another book by Annabelle Costa that I really enjoyed. Blake and Audrey’s story had the real, gritty parts of a married couple dealing with the reality of an injury resulting in permanent disability. Well, they are divorced now.
Blake I got, but Audrey I didn’t get, so I felt comfortable being disappointed in Audrey. Maybe she pushed him in such a way that it motivated him to deal. We don’t get the luxury of trying a different path in life, either, so the path she chose ultimately led to a HEA.
When you read one of Annabelle Costa’s books, you get a good story, a poignant romance, and a snapshot of reality for people with mobility challenges.
