I really liked the idea that Leo was a playboy that did some things and needed his image cleaned up and that is what Riya did for a living. His business contracts with conservative clients seemed threatened.
I don’t know if it was my mood or the book but I felt like it was rather dry and repetitious. Even Leo’s one track mind got a little old and I usually like those parts of a story. I also felt there was a lot more that could have been told about Riya’s interventions creating a bit conflict, jealousy, or emotion.
I think you should give the book a chance since this fixer idea is really clever and don’t just take my word for it that it wasn’t my favorite book.
