Everything wasn’t sunshine and unicorns in THE GUY NEXT DOOR, but the characters persevered to their happy ending.
Zack was brought in to take over the company Crystal worked for after the previous CEO embezzled funds and caused destabilization. Layoffs and pressure to restore profitability entered Zack and Crystal’s lives. The no fraternization policy forced their relationship into hiding but didn’t quell cruel words and gossip.
The book spans a four year period of time. Misunderstandings and hurt may have matured both Zack and Crystal. When they have a chance to meet again under similar circumstances, will tempers flare or will they forgive one another? It’s a good story with drama, angst, steam and meddling relatives.
