The story itself was good but I didn’t really feel much for the characters. I wasn’t sure who was the SHAMELESS STRANGER because neither of them did anything particularly shameless unless it was something Blake said the first time she saw Ben and they didn’t know one another.
The blurb suggested that Ben would give mixed messages by pulling back at times, and that didn’t happen, either. The conflict that eventually rocked the boat a bit was anticlimactic. The book seemed a little out of place in the Hero Club series.
