THE ROOM(HATE) has a different feeling for a rom-com and it was the right book at the right time for me. Right out of the gate, Sebastian and Kenzie’s first encounter was so WTF? These were two people on completely different train tracks that suddenly jumped the rails and were in each other’s lives.
Sebastian - broody, moody, and more (I don’t want to spoil it). Eccentric would be one term that would apply to Kenzie, but she’s funny. I truly laughed out loud throughout the book - and not just because of Kenzie.
The romance was a classic push/pull done very well. Hot times take place even before the 10% point, but such scenes are never gratuitous. You can’t help but root for this couple’s HEA. Excellent read!
