UNDER THE SOUTHERN SKY is a very poignant story of surviving the death of a spouse and recovering from a failed marriage.
Amelia and Parker grew up next door to one another on a peninsula in North Carolina. I loved the southern flavor of the book with their families and the small town they grew up in.
I liked how the author gave us the sense of what Greer was like not only through recollections of a grieving spouse, but through her own words in her journals.
There are quite a few unexpected things that make the story one I could not put down until I finished it.
