This royal Christmas romance is just enough to put a keep a smile on your face at the fairy tale romance of Phillipa and Fitz, childhood enemies and destined to be wed.
The book has great banter between the two with Fitz being the one who appears to recognize and demonstrate his feelings first. Phillipa is a little more cautious since she’s been annoyed and teased by Fitz forever.
Some of the best parts of the story come from or are precipitated by Phillipa’s late father, the King. You’ll have to read the book to see how his presence is felt by his daughter and the man he gave counsel to when he younger.
