Corium is the “finishing school” for the offspring of the most notorious crime syndicates and mafia families in the world. Aspen’s parents sent her there for safety from the people hunting her family to retaliate for cooperating with the FBI against the Rossi family, the most feared family.
Rossi’s son Quinton is attending Corium. He the prince of his mafia family. Due to his father’s money and influence he rules the students and even staff as the KING OF CORIUM.
In the mafia, no matter how smart, resourceful and strong willed, Aspen is a snitch by association. She is brutalized ed by everyone, even the headmaster of Corium. Quinton wants her dead, minimally.
This is a fabulous story with steamy parts that are never gratuitous. The hate-hate relationship between Aspen and Quinton will grip you. You start to wonder, what is strength and control and who really wields it?
I say yes to reading this excellent book.
