I’m always up for a good Christmas romance, but as friends to lovers romances go, this one struck me as both Carson and Felicity acting immature for their age.
If I have this correct, she is around 21 and he is 24, but they were still playing emotional games with each other like preteens. Thank goodness for Felicity’s mom who provided the voice of reason.
There was a lot of time taken for going back over the previous years of their relationship which further highlighted to me its emotionally stagnate nature. This one just wasn’t for me.
