Cooper is like a freight train barreling into a relationship. He doesn’t ask, he tells. He comes off as having a big ego.
But as the story goes on, we find that Parker’s little family finds the chinks in his armor. Cooper is very protective of Parker and makes it clear to any man just casually talking to her that she is taken.
I liked the story. There was enough conflict without being over-dramatic. There were a lot of passionate passages that were fairly routine.
I would read other books in this series.
