I’ve been on a hockey romance thing lately and ONE-TIMER is from a series about a fiction team from North Carolina, the Comets. In this book, the hockey theme is pretty much background - not a lot about the sport itself.
It was a fairly typical surprise baby story with the woman having the courage to tell the father right away. Cameron, the father had a bad experience with a fiancée making it difficult to trust Hollis. Most of the story is about whether they will be co-parents or also have a relationship.
