I have no problem with this being a cliffhanger as stated in the description. Part 1, THE BRIDE ended at the perfect point, too.
What’s good about this story is there is a lot of attention on Ellie’s age. She starts the book at 16, then ends it a month before her 18th birthday. The reader can get a feel for the age progression in her conversations, internal dialogue and the shift in her values. It’s very well done.
