Ty Winslow brings a different woman to the Winslow family dinner each time they get together. His family has pretty much stopped trying to remember his date because they’ll never see her again. He’s a handsome, charming college professor.
So, he meets Rachel at his brother’s nightclub only to find out her father (his mentor) appointed her his TA while she is in graduate school. Rachel has a strong personality but can’t stand up to her father who treats her like a child.
So the canoodling begins with full strength passion and variety. They keep THE SECRET of their relationship from her father so neither lose their job, but as all bad decisions go, it somehow backfires. Rachel and Ty separately have to decide who they want to be with and how much they will sacrifice to be with them. Will Cleo’s prophecy for Ty 14 years ago come true?
It was a good book. The professor/student trope is not my favorite, but this was a Winslow brother and a different breed of professor. No chalk dust on the front of his pants when he turns from the board to face the class. Rachel seemed to have too many sides to her personality and I wondered if the one she showed Ty was the real one.
In any event, the Winslows and Max Monroe never disappoint so read the book and enjoy. I am providing this voluntary review after reading an advance copy provided to me.
