Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score

I really enjoyed the book.  It was the grumpy guy/sunshine woman part I liked the most, but the addition of Naomi’s 11 year old niece added depth to all the characters.

I was familiar with the “feel” of this book as a Lucy Score book when the quirkiness piled on little by little until nothing surprised you after awhile.  I don’t know why, but our first introduction to Naomi’s dad is something that still makes me chuckle when I think about it.  

So amidst the mayhem, shenanigans and tomfoolery, THINGS WE NEVER GOT OVER has a message about different kinds of love - for a partner, a friend, parents, or a child and how useless baggage can stand in the way of realizing it.
