Ainsley is one of my favorite type of female characters. She doesn’t have much of a filter, has some idiosyncrasies, and kindness comes naturally. She’s funny, too.
In IOU: A ROMANTIC COMEDY she meets Maverick, a complex guy. He has several money making operations and favors he gives out mostly to those in urgent circumstances. He’s also feared by everyone but Ainsley-she sees the real person he is. I did admire his talent to extract a little revenge, too.
At first she drive Maverick batty with her questions, setting off the smoke detector, among other things. They have great chemistry and have a passionate relationship once they give in to their urges. Good book!
