DIRTY TALKER is correct. Dane has certainly earned the title and the skills to back it up. He seems to have been able to carve time out while raising his son, to be popular with the ladies.
Ava meets Dane by patronizing his bar before she decides to move to town and start a bakery business. They have one of those one night stands that turns out not to be enough so they convince themselves they can have a casual thing, fly under the radar in a small town and not want anything more.
It’s a fast paced and full of steamy trysts, town gossip and deciding what one wants. The writing is great especially Dane’s voice. His impressive ego is the source of many of his charming moments.
