The title of the book is interesting because almost every named character in this book was leading some sort of a double life. Since the story is told from the female POV, MY DOUBLE LIFE refers to Emma.
It’s a story about having the courage to live your true life. Many of the characters thought they were hiding some part of themselves from everyone - some more successfully than others. The author was able to surprise us while taking us through Emma’s self discovery. The people she was closest to - Callum, Nathan, Sian and to some extent Blaire and Davita - were interested in her life while they kept parts of themselves from her.
It was a good book. It had a bit of cheating and a love triangle which are normally off putting to me, but integral to the story.
