One of the really clever things about this story is that Griffin has 6 brothers that were all born within 4 months of each other. We are introduced to each of the brothers (really half brothers) that all have different mothers but the same father. Once you “meet” the father you’ll get it.
But this is an interesting story. It starts with them meeting at a masquerade ball, having a one night stand without exchanging any personal information. The story is about the circumstances under which they unknowingly meet again. We learn what a grump Griffin is and why. We also learn how Sierra can find joy in everything.
The surprises don’t take long to reveal themselves, but the journey getting there is fun to read.
