Dark Kingdom by Jagger Cole

The Kings & Villains are a group of you men that met in college and either came from wealthy, influential families (Kings) or from dark world families (Villains).

I knew Adrian Cross was going to be one of those men you didn’t want to cross, but also that he had something deep eating at him.  In DARK KINGDOM we learn that something was his first love Celeste.  The were young and making plans when their lives took an unfortunate turn that would play out four years later.

To say these two are intense is an understatement.  Even when they believe they hate one another, there are steamy and very physical encounters.  Both felt the other betrayed them, but still couldn’t remain apart.

Adrian is my favorite kind of possessive main character.  He doesn’t even think other men should be able to look at Celeste.  It’s an intense love story with the dark elements Jagger Cole does so well.

We get to learn more about the other Kings & Villains, but it appears the spotlight will shift to “Golden Boy” Oliver Prince next.  Excellent book.  I received an advance copy from the author and this is my voluntary review.
