STONE is book one of the Stone Cold Fox trilogy and I am hooked. The best way to describe it is fraught with raw emotion. While the story is about Ivy Stone coming to Cold, Montana to make a movie about a serial killer case, it is really about Officer Levi Fox and what feels like the sheer agony he has been living through since the death of his partner Grace who Ivy portrays in the movie.
This is such a good book with the writing oozing with a dark tension between Ivy and Levi that we keep waiting to break. I love it because Levi wants so much to fight his attraction to Ivy. She doesn’t know what she should feel from one encounter to the next, and he is so broken he can’t help but be awful to her to protect himself.
