I am a big fan of this series and this author, but this particular book fell a little short for me. It’s true that best friends to lovers is not my favorite trope, however in this case we were reminded about the “best friends” part a little too often. It is a dialogue driven book. The banter is good. The burn is slow. Real slow.
I think my issues with the book are partly the book and partly me. Read other reviews to see if something I didn’t see piques your interest.
